Our Does
These does are a Work of Love,
the result of many years of selective breeding
in our program at Pueblo Mission.
They had been kept as "the cream of the crop"
to pass on such desired genes.
Now they are available to you.
All dams on our farm have done well with conceiving, birthing, raising.
These does exhibit:
*a well attached udder
that can be easily hand milked,
*on a body of nice conformation
*as well as those eye catching traits
of blue eyes, and moonspots.
Our polled goats have:
no need of hot irons, bandings,
nor further nuiscence of pesky, unbehaved scurs;
and exhibit such a nice smooth head.

Our goats come from good lines
and so have:
*nice conformation
*as well as dairy quality,
*and "icing on the cake" looks
of blue eyes, polling, moon spots
or a mix
or all, which is also called a "unicorn".
Our previous sire, Geoffrey Giraffe, is a unicorn,
and from the 8 dams
he produced 8 unicorn kids spring 2024.
Of the 14 kids that spring,
only 4 had horns to disbud-
a great relief to all.
In addition,
10 of the 14 kids had moonspots.
11 of 14 had blue eyes.
Good job, Geoffrey!
He excels in the dairy department--
just see his full sister, Cheetah.
Now, Geoffrey's son Turtle,
also a UNICORN,
carries on the family genetics
in the 2026 collection of kids.
